SS Rajamouli visited the Regional Transport Office (RTO) at Khairatabad in Hyderabad on Thursday. The director dropped in at the office to reportedly apply to renew his international driving license. The officials of the Transport department received Rajamouli and made sure that the director completed the registration formalities as per the procedure. They also kept his waiting time to the minimal. The application process for license renewal was completed after the RRR director gave his digital thumb impression and signature. Joint Transport Commissioner C Ramesh was present at the venue and oversaw all the formalities. The photo and the video of Rajamouli at the RTA office is being shared extensively on social media.

Rajamouli is presently working on a film with Mahesh Babu, tentatively titled SSMB29. The action adventure is set in Africa, and the filmmakers will have to travel abroad soon for shooting action sequences in multiple countries. Fans of Rajamouli and Mahesh Babu predict that the director would require renewed international driving license to drive in foreign countries. And the director ensured proper documentation (updated driving license) ahead of his foreign travel. According to sources, intense chase sequences would be shot abroad.

SSMB29 is said to be the most-anticipated film. With an ensemble cast like Priyanka Chopra Jonas and Prithviraj Sukumaran, the action adventure is set for global acclaim. Meanwhile, rumours are rife that the film’s writer Vijayendra Prasad (Rajamouli’s father) was inspired by the writings of British-South African novelist Wilbur Addison Smith. The father-son duo admires Addison Smith’s writings, and the writer has drawn inspiration from some of the characters in his novels and episodes. The writer reportedly gave a new spin to the narrative by incorporating his life experiences making it even more gripping.
